Usher in the Fall season in New England with our second annual BeWitched & BeDazzled Festival. Expanded from last year with longer hours, giving more time for all ages to come and enjoy a full day of fun. Set within the picturesque Chase Farm, and the site of Disney’s filming of Hocus Pocus 2, the festival includes some 75 artisan vendors, non-stop stage and grounds performances, children’s activities, hayrides, historic presentations, psychics, food trucks, and more.
Every year, 10 historic properties along Great Road, one of the oldest highways in the country, invite visitors to an Open House to get a peek inside these rare sites, ranging from 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries. Take a self-guided tour of the sites at the Great Road Heritage Campus: Hearthside House, Pullen’s Corner Schoolhouse, Hannaway Blacksmith Shop and the Moffett Mill. The other participating sites include the Friends Quaker Meetinghouse, the Arnold House, Mt. Moriah Lodge, Northgate and the Arnold’s Bakery. The Valentine Whitman House, private residence, offers an outdoor visit to learn its history.

It isn't just a special time to enjoy the traditions of Tea, but it is an opportunity to learn valuable lessons from history through dolls.
Join the Friends of Hearthside and the Town of Lincoln for the annual Memorial Day Parade, kicking off at 11 a.m. at the corner of Higginson Avenue and Smithfield Avenue as it winds its way through town and Great Road, concluding at Chase Farm Park around noon. The post-parade celebration starting immediately after the parade includes a live band, food trucks, and fun for the whole family. Stop by the schoolhouse and learn more about our historic sites at the Great Road Heritage Campus from our volunteers dressed in historic attire. The event is free.
