There are two performances scheduled at 12 noon and another at 1:00 pm.  Children represent the range of ages of the area students who would have attended this one-room schoolhouse in Lincoln during the late 19th century from 5-13.  Each year, the teacher was required to provide a holiday performance for the community by the students.  The 30-minute performance includes songs and recitals by the children as they prepare for the upcoming holiday.  Limited space at each.  Advance tickets and reservations advisable. 

Known as the "Hot Potato Schoolhouse," this cozy historic school has been totally restored and is heated by a wood stove. The schoolhouse will be open for touring after the performances for the remainder of the afternoon, with entrance fee included in Hearthside ticket.
