To commemorate the 150th anniversary of the town of Lincoln, all ages from 5 and above are invited to experience summertime childhood fun from 1871. Active participation in a variety of activities will be offered. Choose those that interest your child, or you. Allow 90 min. for your visit.
Advance tickets only by registering here.
These activities offered would have been available to children in the 1800’s. All activities will be located in and around the Pullen’s Corner Schoolhouse and the Visitor Center at Chase Farm Park. Costumed schoolmarms and schoolmasters will direct each activity. All projects and creations are made to be taken home. Examples of the activities include making a kite from newspaper, creating a jumping jack, using a magnifier to explore and record a part of nature; make a fishing pole, play old-fashioned schoolhouse recess games, weave or embroider a colorful creation.
