A children's story about RI Revolutionary War hero Commodore Silas Talbot, ancestor of Hearthside's former owner Arnold G. Talbot. This historical adventure is an imaginative story about the principles of a hero, told by a mouse also named Silas living at Hearthside. Both the mouse and the man face danger: one protecting our nation and the other living in a house filled with cats. The delightful full-color comic book was written and illustrated by 12-year old Rose Urteaga during our country's 250th anniversary. A 36-page soft cover booklet measuring 5 in. x 8 in.
