Hearthside Named as “Best Museum in the Valley”

Readers of the weekly newspaper, The Valley Breeze, have cast their votes in the Voices of the Valley Community Awards, and Hearthside came out on top as the 2025 Best Museum in the Valley.

The award program was established last year by the weekly newspaper to recognize businesses, organizations, and people who help make the Blackstone Valley a great place to live and do business.

The awards were given in 160 categories from various businesses and services to entertainment and recreation.  This year there were thousands and thousands of public votes made through the four-month process, which began in February with nominations and the finalists selected in March.  The final voting took place between March and June and the winners were announced in July.

Last year, Hearthside was a finalist in the Museum category.  Also recognized this year as a finalist in the Local Hero category was Hearthside president Kathy Hartley.

This was the second year of the Breeze’s Community Awards program.
