Thrive Grant Provides $5,000 Award to Friends of Hearthside

The Friends of Hearthside was one of 22 organizations that received the 2025 Thrive Grant given by Rhode Island Humanities for operational support of small cultural heritage organizations and local historical and preservation societies that support and strengthen Rhode Island’s many diverse, dynamic communities.  The award was for $5000.

For Hearthside this meant that a critical need to replace outdated computers was addressed with upgraded new equipment.  The funding was made possible from Rhode Island Humanities as part of the THRIVE grant program supported by an allocation and legislative grant from the State of Rhode Island.   RI Humanities is an independent state affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities.
